Policies
Event terms and conditions
These terms apply to every ticketed event organised by Offline by Happy Hour. By booking a ticket you agree to the terms below. Trips are a separate contract with their own terms and refund policy.
Last updated July 2026
1. Tickets & Booking
A ticket is confirmed only once payment has been received and you have a confirmation email or ticket in My Offline. Until then a seat is not held.
Each ticket admits one named attendee. Tickets are personal to the attendee named at checkout and are not transferable without written confirmation from us.
The amount you approve at checkout is calculated and verified by our payment provider. Applicable GST is charged as shown before payment.
2. Eligibility & Entry
Our events are for verified members aged 18 or over. Where an event states an age band or other eligibility (for example a specific age range, or singles only), that requirement is stated on the event page before you pay.
- Carry a government photo ID matching the name on your ticket.
- Entry may be refused where eligibility stated on the event page is not met.
- Entry may be refused to anyone who is intoxicated to an unreasonable extent or behaving unsafely.
Where entry is refused because a stated eligibility requirement is not met, no refund is due. We will always explain the reason at the door.
3. Arriving & Timings
Start times are stated on the event page. Please arrive at the stated time — several formats depend on everyone starting together, and late arrival can mean missing a seated round or an introduction.
We do not hold a place beyond the stated start time for a no-show, and a missed event is not refundable. Travel to and from the venue is your own arrangement.
4. What Your Ticket Includes
Inclusions differ by event and are listed on that event's page — typically the hosted format itself and anything named there, such as a welcome drink or a seat at a table.
Unless the event page says otherwise, food, drinks, and anything you order at the venue are not included and are settled directly by you.
5. Venue, Changes & Cancellation by Us
Events are hosted at third-party venues. Venue rules, dress codes and licensing conditions apply while you are there.
A venue, host or start time may change where reasonably necessary. We will tell you using the contact details you gave at checkout. If we cancel an event outright, see the refund policy below.
6. Conduct at the Event
These are shared social rooms, so how people behave is the product. We ask every guest to be respectful of other guests, hosts, venue staff and the space itself, to respect personal boundaries, and to drink responsibly.
We may ask a guest to leave an event, without refund, where their behaviour is unsafe, harassing, discriminatory, threatening, or is materially spoiling the experience for others. Our code of conduct applies in full.
7. No Promised Outcomes
We create hosted rooms and introductions. We do not guarantee friendships, romantic connections, matches, or any specific social outcome, and we do not guarantee who else will attend a given event. You remain responsible for your own interactions and decisions, at the event and afterwards.
8. Photography & Content
We often photograph and film at events. By attending you agree that images and video captured may be used by Offline by Happy Hour for social media, marketing and on our website. If you would rather not appear, tell the host on the night and we will respect it — see our photography policy for how to opt out.
9. Health, Safety & Personal Property
Please make sure you are fit to take part in the event and any activity it involves, and manage your own medications, allergies and dietary needs. Tell us in advance where we can help.
You are responsible for your own belongings. Offline by Happy Hour is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property at a venue, nor for the acts or omissions of third-party venues and suppliers, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurgaon / Haryana.
These terms apply to ticketed events and are accepted at checkout. For trips, see the trip terms and conditions.
Event refund & cancellation policy
Event tickets commit a venue booking and a host, so the policy tightens as the date approaches. The policy shown on the event page before you pay governs that purchase; this page explains the general position.
1. If you cancel
Timings run from the event's stated start time.
- More than 7 days before — full refund, less any payment-gateway charge.
- 3 to 7 days before — 50% refund, or a transfer to another event of the same value.
- Less than 72 hours before — no refund; a transfer may be offered at our discretion where the seat can be refilled.
- No-show, late arrival, or entry refused for a stated eligibility requirement — no refund.
Requests must be made in writing and are not approved until confirmed by us in writing.
2. If we cancel or move the event
If we cancel an event, you choose a full refund or a credit towards another event. If we materially change the date or the city, you may choose a full refund instead of attending.
3. Transfers to another person
Tickets are issued to a named attendee for safety and verification reasons, so they cannot be passed on informally. Contact us and we will re-issue to another verified member where the event and eligibility allow it.
4. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, typically within 7–10 business days. Once initiated, when the money appears is controlled by your bank or payment provider. GST already paid is refunded only to the extent it is recoverable.
To cancel, transfer or ask about a refund, contact us on WhatsApp at +91 87250 27975 or email [email protected] with your order reference.
