Arrive in Guwahati and meet a curated group of like-minded singles. Begin the journey to Shillong with a stop at Umiam Lake. En route, ease into conversations with a light ice-breaker game. Evening: explore Shillong markets, followed by a casual mixer dinner. Check-in and unwind.

Landscapes That Leave You Speechless
Visit Laitlum Canyon, Lyngksiar Waterfalls, Arwah Cave, and Nohkalikai Falls. Pause for a sunset viewpoint moment. Return to Cherrapunjee for a relaxed evening with an optional card games / storytelling circle.

Trek from Tyrna Village to the Single Root Bridge and the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge. A "buddy switch" activity along the way encourages everyone to interact beyond their comfort zone. Post-trek: group reflection + chill session (music, light conversations).

Culture, Simplicity & Riverside Evenings
Explore Mawsmai Cave and walk through Mawlynnong village. Local lunch experience with Khasi cuisine. Head to Shnongpdeng for riverside camping. Evening bonfire night with curated music, games, and a light-hearted connections circle.

Adventure & A Perfect Goodbye Night
Experience the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River — kayaking, boating, or cliff jumping. Visit Krang Suri Waterfall. Return to Shillong for a high-energy closing night with music, dancing, and fun group awards.

What's the ratio on the trips?
While we make every effort to maintain a balanced gender ratio on our trips, we are unable to guarantee an equal ratio at all times. Last-minute cancellations, booking modifications, visa rejections, and other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may affect the final composition of the group. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and accept that the gender ratio may vary, and such changes shall not be considered grounds for cancellation, refund, or any compensation.

Our average group size is anywhere between 12-20 singles depending on the destination, season & availability of the people.

Refund & cancellation for this trip
This departure carries its own refund and cancellation policy, which applies in place of the universal trips policy.
We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to balance flexibility for our travellers while honouring our commitments to hotels, airlines, and local partners.
International Trips
Cancellations made between upto 41 days prior to departure: 50% of the total package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee. In the event of a visa rejection, 50% of the package cost will be retained, and the remaining balance will be issued as a Credit Note valid for 12 months.
Cancellations made within 40 days of departure: Bookings are non-refundable, irrespective of the reason for cancellation.
Domestic Trips
Cancellations made 31 days or more before departure: 50% of the total package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made between 16 and 30 days before departure: 75% of the total package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 15 days of departure: The trip amount is non-refundable.

By booking or joining any trip organised by Offline by Happy Hour, guests agree to the terms below.
A booking is considered confirmed once the required advance payment has been received. Booking amount in non refundable & non transferable. The remaining balance must be cleared within the communicated payment timeline.
Failure to clear pending payments within communicated timelines may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the booking amount. In case of delayed or incomplete payment, the booking may be released depending on availability.
Prices are subject to change before confirmation due to fluctuations in taxes, supplier pricing, currency exchange rates, or operational costs. Applicable GST, TCS, or other government taxes will be charged additionally wherever applicable unless mentioned otherwise.
Depending on the destination and itinerary, your experience may include:
- Comfortable hotel accommodation
- Double-sharing stay, unless requested and confirmed otherwise
- Daily breakfast at the hotel
- Airport pickup and drop on the designated arrival and departure schedule shared by the team
- Internal group transfers for activities and sightseeing mentioned in the itinerary
- Curated group experiences and planned activities as mentioned
- Dedicated trip captain and on-ground support throughout the journey
Specific inclusions may vary for each trip and will always be communicated in advance.
Unless specifically mentioned, the following are not included in the package:
- International or domestic flights
- Train or bus tickets
- Visa fees
- Travel insurance
- Lunches, dinners, beverages, and personal food expenses beyond hotel breakfast
- Shopping and personal purchases
- Private transportation or personal travel outside the planned itinerary
- Room service, laundry, minibar, or hotel incidentals
- Optional activities not mentioned in the itinerary
- Early check-ins or late check-outs
- Expenses arising from delays, rescheduling, weather conditions, or unforeseen situations
Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the destination city unless mentioned otherwise. We recommend booking flights or train tickets only after receiving trip confirmation from our team.
Airport transfers are arranged only for the designated arrival and departure timings shared prior to the trip. Guests arriving earlier or later than the scheduled timings may need to arrange their own transfers to the hotel or meeting point.
For sightseeing and planned experiences, internal transportation will be arranged through traveller buses, mini vans, coaches, or similar group vehicles. Any personal travel outside the itinerary, including shopping visits, nightlife movement, or independent exploration, will be managed individually by guests.
Guests undertaking independent activities or travel outside the planned itinerary do so at their own discretion and responsibility. While we always try our best to assist wherever possible, Offline by Happy Hour will not be responsible for delays, missed connections, airline schedule changes, baggage issues, or disruptions caused by external transportation providers.
Accommodation is generally provided on a double-sharing basis unless mentioned otherwise. Guests may be paired with another guest of the same gender. Room preferences will always be considered wherever operationally possible, though they may not always be guaranteed.
Since these are group experiences, we request guests to be respectful and considerate toward their roommates and fellow guests throughout the journey. Requests for room changes during the trip shall be subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Our trips are carefully curated; however, travel sometimes comes with unexpected changes. Itineraries may occasionally be adjusted due to weather conditions, local circumstances, operational requirements, safety considerations, or factors beyond our control.
In such situations, our team will always aim to provide the best possible alternative while ensuring the overall experience remains smooth and enjoyable. Minor itinerary adjustments shall not be considered grounds for refunds or compensation.
These terms apply to all Offline by Happy Hour trips and are accepted at the time of booking.
